Welcome to Technical Merritt - your go-to source for computer and technology services in Croxley Green and the surrounding area. Our workshop is conveniently located on Watford Road and open 9 am-5 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am-2 pm on Saturdays, offering expert servicing, repairs, upgrades, and advice for a wide range of devices, including Macs, PCs, iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
Our services cover everything from software fixes to hardware repairs and more. We've even surprised ourselves with the breadth of devices we've been able to repair, from vintage Game Boys to GHD hair straighteners and even Nespresso milk frothers.
At Technical Merritt, we're committed to providing you with the highest quality service. Our workshop is equipped with specialized diagnostic and repair tools and operates on a no-fix, no-fee policy. We'll never hit you with unexpected bills and always take a customer-centric approach to meet your unique needs.

John Merritt
Owner & Computer Geek
Hi, I'm John "Technical" Merritt
I am a Croxley Green local; I grew up and went to school in Croxley and today live here with my wife, Amber and my dog Poppy.
I have over 20 years of experience in consumer electronics, having worked for Sony Centres for over 15 years, where I honed my customer service skills and continuously worked to keep up to date with my knowledge and take the time to understand each individual customer's needs.
Being known as a "tech geek," I was always asked by friends and family for help with their computers and other tech.
In 2012, I started Technical Merritt as a side business. With little to no marketing and just taking jobs on a word-of-mouth basis, In 2019, to keep up with demand, I opened my workshop in Croxley Antiques, where I'd be happy to have a chat and talk through your technical support options in more detail.
I'm an approachable guy who offers reasonable prices for a quality service.

Hi, I'm Dave
I grew up in leafy Oxhey and now live just outside Watford with my wonderfully tolerant wife Louise and my daughter Isla.
I worked with John many years ago at the Sony Centre in Watford, and through our shared passion for all things tech, we have always remained in contact.
More recently, my background has been in media and print advertising, so making the move into web design and online marketing was a logical progression.
My focus is on helping local small businesses and organisations with little or no online presence to reach more customers and stay relevant in the digital age.
I'm a down-to-earth and friendly chap who takes the time to understand my clients' needs and explain anything you are unsure of in easy-to-understand language. I prefer to leave the technical jargon to John!
